When January rolled around, I realized I had ballooned up to a hefty 238 lbs 🥴.
As I left the doctor's office, my mind raced with worry about my health because of the doctor's concerned tone.
The season had changed, and with it came the need for the spring check-up. The scale had been my foe, but today it was my ally, showing that my hard work had paid off with a 98 lbs weight loss.
My doctor's expression of pride filled me with a sense of accomplishment, and I felt tears prick my eyes.
The memory of my journey, where I focused on eating healthy and walking 4 miles a day, came flooding back.
Despite working hard for almost 3 weeks, I only lost two pounds, leaving me feeling frustrated.
